Inclusive, Hands-On Learning
With five years of working in the IT industry, two years of experience teaching the Kid Tech Nation program at BGC Greater Saint John, and a more recent background in working with kids who have extra learning needs (Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, etc) through my other current role as an Educational Assistant with ASD-S, I'm very passionate about delivering enriching hands-on experiences at the level and pace that each individual child needs.

Educational Blocks
Choose from any of the three educational blocks. If your child is interested in learning something that's not listed, then let me know, and depending on what is I may be able to still teach it to them!
Computer
programming
Introduction to computer programming using visual block-based languages such as Scratch, and making coding a hands-on learning experience through integration with devices such as micro:bits.
This educational block can lay the foundation for many future possiblities. Here are just a couple out of many:
- Developing and publishing your very own video game and creating modifications to existing video games.
- Programming robots or other practical hands-on hardware tools to assist with real life challenges and scenarios.
Hardware and Software Configuration
Introduction to computer hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting, using practical hands-on methods such as allowing kids to physically take apart a real computer.
This educational block can lay the foundation for many future possiblities. Here are just a couple out of many:
- Building your own gaming computer.
- Fixing your own computer when something goes wrong instead of having to pay and or wait for someone else to fix it.
Minecraft Server Configuration
Apply hardware and software configuration skills to setup a self-sustaining Minecraft server. This would be a special type of server that doesn't need a specific Minecraft account tied to it for it to work, which means the server can operate 24/7.
This educational block can lay the foundation for many future possiblities. Here are just a couple out of many:
- Create a private Minecraft server that you and your friends/family can call a permanent 24/7 second home, and with as many alterations from vanilla (default) Minecraft that you can dream, to make it a uniquely rewarding and refreshing play experience.
- Create a public Minecraft server, customized to as far as you can dream, where you provide a unique play experience that will leave your players coming back for more.
Session Types
Your child can either attend a session by themselves, or come with other kids!
Individual
Educational delivery for only one child, allowing for a rewarding and enriching learning experience with undivided atention on only that one child's learning outcomes.

Small Group
Educational delivery for up to 4 children, fostering a close sense of teamwork and character building that helps lead to collaborative empowerment.

Getting Started
If you have any questions or concerns prior to registering, feel free to reach out to me by email or phone. Although I will try my best to answer a phone call, I may not be able to if I'm at work, so I recommend sending me an email or text message. I will get back to you within the same day, as long as it's before 8:30pm that you sent the message!

Submit Registration
The registration form, which uses Google Forms, would need to be filled out and submitted.

Finalize Registration
I will reach out to you by email within 24hrs after you submitted the registration form. At that point, I would discuss the details of what you and your child wants, and how to work out the scheduling. We can either have this discussion over email, text, phone call, or an in-person meeting at a location of your choosing.

FREE first session
Bring your child to their first session, which will be 100% free as a first-time promotion given to all new clients. Based on the free session, if you feel it's the right fit for you and your child, then we can setup further sessions at the normal rate of $20/session.
